Stop 1: Plantrite Wholesale Native Nursery


Understand the full supply chain behind carbon planting projects.


This interactive nursery visit will take delegates through the journey from seed to seedling, offering insight into what it takes to deliver large-scale restoration projects.


Delegates will rotate through three stations:

  • Seed supply & quality – how seed is collected, processed and tested
  • Project planning – species selection, forecasting and delivery coordination
  • Production & dispatch – propagation, timelines and nursery operations in action

Stop 2: Gidgegannup Biodiverse Carbon Project

Join a guided visit to Biologic’s Gidgegannup Biodiverse Carbon Project, a restored marri–jarrah woodland supporting native species, including the endangered Carnaby’s white-tailed cockatoo.


This field-based experience offers a practical look at how nature-based carbon projects are designed, delivered and monitored.


On site, you will:

  • Explore the approaches Biologic is trialling with planting to rehabilitate remnant vegetation 
  • Get up close with the specialised equipment used in direct seeding and understand how it’s delivering industry‑leading results in restoration 
  • Dive into the technical world of the soil microbiome through eDNA to inform and monitor restoration outcomes  
  • Unpack the real‑world barriers and challenges the team has faced in rehabilitating this remnant landscape, all with the goal of delivering high‑quality Biodiverse Carbon Credits. 

Stop 3: Lunch & Learn plus Networking at Mandoon Estate

Reflect on the morning's site visits with colleagues over a delicious lunch at the Mandoon Estate. Plus, learn more about some of the other incredible projects happening across Western Australia with our special edition Landowner Lunch & Learn featuring landholders and managers working on just some of the unique projects being undertaken across the West.

Total price: $215 +GST. Cost includes transfer to and from Rydges Esplanade (leaving 7.30am, returning 4pm), site visit tours, lunch at Mandoon Estate. Places strictly limited.
